Seismic data library
Crown Minerals’ digital petroleum data library has been established from over 75,000 magnetic tapes collected from companies exploring in New Zealand. Most of these are seismic reflection data collected by petroleum exploration companies, but it also includes digital data for well log, gravity and magnetic acquisitions.
Seismic acquisition on real tapes prior to 1995 has been archived onto DAT (Digital Audio Tape) to ensure preservation.
You can use the online catalogue to identify the seismic lines you require. This data can be transferred to a variety of media.
